IPTACS Instructor Certification Course is designed to provide the police trainer/instructor with the requisite skills and knowledge to develop well designed lesson plans and deliver police training courses effectively to adult learners.

Curriculum Development Course
IPTACS Curriculum Development Course is to provide experienced law enforcement trainers with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to design training curriculum and programs. This course and should provide a basis for law enforcement trainers to (1) Analyze employee performance problems to determine if training is necessary for satisfactory resolution of the problem; and (2) understand how the Instructional System Design model for developing instructional programs will result in an efficient and effective manner of resolving training related performance problems. The course is designed in a workshop format to provide the participants ample opportunity to “learn by doing.” Lessons will be presented in an interactive style and include lecture and practical exercises that relate to the unique challenges and environment within the organization. The Curriculum Development Course is three weeks in length and is designed for experienced law enforcement trainers who have completed an instructor development course and/or supervisors who have the responsibility of managing the training function.

Advanced Instructor Course
IPTACS Advanced Instructor Course is for experienced instructors/trainers and provides the opportunity for participants to strengthen their knowledge and skills in the areas of learning theory, training aids, utilizing operations resources, instructional integration, and learning assessment strategies.
Length of Course: 5 Days
